Taylor and Colton Elope in the Outer Banks, Rodanthe, North Carolina

Taylor and Colton traveled from Florida for their elopement in Rodanthe, North Carolina, in the Outer Banks. It was absolutely perfect. Fun fact - the only other people on the beach that day renewed their vows on that very beach several years ago. These sweet strangers (and their dog) signed as witnesses on T + C’s marriage certificate! They exchanged vows and then I married Taylor and Colton (just call me Stephanie Murray, Justice of the Peace, people!). After, we spent the afternoon driving around the most gorgeous areas in the Outer Banks. I love how simple this day was. It was focused solely on the couple and their love and devotion for each other. I also love how we ended their elopement with drinks and a fire on the beach. Taylor ordered dried flowers off of Etsy and her dad made a personalized shotski (see photos at the end!) Instead of cake, the two brought a fancy bottle of Tequila, which they vowed to drink from, each year on their anniversary. After the craziness of 2020, elopements are a gorgeous option to tie the knot!
