Quintana Roo | Michigan Wedding Photographer

I had such an incredible time shooting Taylor and Danny’s destination wedding in Quintana Roo, Mexico. This shoot was extra special because I got to spend some time with their group before and after the wedding, since I was staying with a friend and vacationing at the resort. I am always down for a wedding shoot and a vacation!   

I met Taylor and Danny at Taylor’s best friend’s wedding, and I am so glad that I did so that I could shoot theirs! Taylor is from outside of Wilmington, North Carolina, which happens to be one of my favorite places ever! We shot their engagement session together in North Carolina earlier in the year. 

The couple got ready separately and then did a first look before the ceremony. There were so many beautiful places at the resort for us to take pictures outside, and I love the tropical feel of their portraits! We headed to the outdoor ceremony and then spent some time taking some incredible portraits of the couple with the sun shining in the background. 

The reception was such a blast, as you would expect with such a great group of people. There was so much dancing, and it truly was a celebration to remember. We ended a great day in Quintana Roo with some tub photos, which is something I really love. Thank you, Taylor and Danny, for inviting me to be a part of your special day, and for being such sweet and genuine people.
