Michaela and Drew Get Married at Lewis Orchard Farms and Petting Zoo

This wedding, which took place at Lewis Orchard Farms and Petting Zoo, was one of my most favorite weddings I have ever shot - and not just because there were actual real life kangaroos, alpacas, and goats present at the reception. Michaela and Drew have an envious love and were so joyful and easy to shoot. When we met at their engagement session, they told me that the two first met at a country musical festival and were pretty much inseparable ever since. They described their first date as an entire day long event which included waiting out the rain and hiking when it stopped. Michaela’s sister and maid of honor put it perfectly, “love is not a choice but relationships are and these two choose each other every single day.”

I hope to return to Lewis Orchard Farms. Everything from the gorgeous bridal suite full of natural light, to the perfectly simplistic and green orchard ceremony spot made it a photographer’s dream day.
